New Addition on “The Golden Mile”.

Greg Jones and Rob Samtmann of Equity Retail Brokers were pleased to represent the Landlord in leasing approximately 24,000 SF at the former Klaussner Home Furnishings location at 134 Baltimore Pike in Springfield, Delaware County, PA.  The site was leased by American Furniture Design (represented by Legend Properties), who currently operates four (4) retail stores in Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey.

“This was a very unique leasing project”, commented Greg Jones.  “We were marketing this property to a very specific user that saw value in the improvements that were in place from the former tenant.”  President of Equity Ed Ginn said, “I was very proud of our leasing team.  From the beginning of the leasing project to the lease’s signing, the team kept pushing, looking for the perfect use.  The demand on Baltimore Pike is still high, as other national retailers expressed interest in the property and opening new stores in Springfield.”  The new store is currently under construction and should open this summer.
