Viva Las Vegas!

The agents of Equity Retail Brokers came out to Las Vegas in full force to attend RECon at this year’s International Council of Shopping Centers Las Vegas Convention, held May 22-25, 2011. Equity attended as a Northeast Affiliate of the Retail Brokers Network (RBN). The RBN was a proud sponsor of the RECon website and a Block Party event, along with Walmart Realty, Hutensky Capital Partners, The Inland Real Estate Group

of Companies, Inc., Spirit, Alcoa and Bohler Engineering.

The RBN kicked off RECon with a General Membership Meeting held on Sunday, May 22nd. Walmart Real Estate representatives Rick Kinnard, Vice President, Realty Dispositions and Acquisitions, and Carole Baker, Senior Director, Realty Sales and Leasing, were guest speakers at the event.

The RBN booth was extremely busy for the entire show. Equity agents, along with the other RBN member companies, held many meetings with their landlord and tenant clients there. There were also several Speaker Series open meetings held at the booth, which included representatives from the following: Kohl’s, RubyTuesday’s, Chipotle, Ace Hardware, Phillips Edison, REI, Petco, Outback Steakhouse, Party City, McDonald’s,

and Bed Bath & Beyond.

All in all, it was an extremely successful show for our ICSC constituents, the agents of Equity Retail Brokers and our Retail Brokers Network affiliates.
